What is The One-Day Design Solution™ ?

A budget-friendly plan which will provide you with the resources and design tips to re-do your space at your own pace. It is a road map to streamline and guide you through the process  -- including furniture planning, color suggestions, and web links to furniture, lighting and accessory recommendations. Included are two on-site meetings, the first to go over your space challenges, and the second to review the solutions in your PDF package.

What doesn’t it do?

I don’t implement the ideas for you, or hire and manage contractors – that part is up to you. The benefits are twofold; a substantial savings, and the ability to pace your expenditures and schedule to suit your lifestyle. Also, because of the complexities of kitchens and baths, or custom cabinetry they are not a good match for this package.

How does it work?

First, we speak on the phone or in person to see if The One Day Design Solution is a good match for you and your design needs. Then we schedule the first on-site consultation. It’s a fun and invigorating process  during which will define the challenges, discuss your budget, make a wish-list, look at photos of other projects for inspiration, and take pictures and measurements.

What will I end up with?

In two weeks we’ll sit down again with your PDF document which will contain your customized plan. This may include a furniture layout, a color palette, sketches of any additional design ideas, photos of furniture and accessory suggestions, and live links to purchase those items. No hunting online -- it’s already done! Where appropriate, tips and how-to ideas will be included. At the end of the document is a terrific FAQ which will give you tips on things like hanging artwork and buying furniture. The One Day Design Solution is created for homeowners, not design professionals, so it’s easy to follow and provides enough information to carry you through the process. I’ll be there to walk you through it and answer all your questions.

How much does it cost?

The One Day Design Solution is $650 per room, payable the day of your consultation.
